DESCRIPTION:The Great American Plunge \nPresented by Major League Pinball \n@ Murphy’s on 21 – 13226 Tesson Ferry Road\, St. Louis\, Missouri \nSunday\, June 14th\, 2026 \nDoors Open: 11:00am\nTourney Start: 12:00pm \nEntry Fee: $20 \n** BALL SAVES TURNED OFF ** \nIFPA Sanctioned and for WPPR Points. \nAll games on coin drop as set by venue (75 cents a game). \nGuaranteed $250 first place cash prize!!! \n-Format- \nQualifying: Group Matchplay for five hours and fifteen minutes\, will finish out any round that starts within the allotted time period. IFPA (7\,5\,3\,1) Scoring. Balanced Group Pairings. The top players in points at the conclusion of qualifying will advance to a finals. The exact number of players advancing to finals will be determine by total entrants and announced before tourney start. Ball Saves will be turned off for the duration of tournament and game setups will be more difficult than usual!!! \nFinals: Head to Head Double Elimination Bracket . In the winner’s bracket matches will consist of a best (2/3) games\, with the loser’s bracket featuring (1) game. The winner of the bracket will be crowned the 2026 Great American Plunge Champion\, win a commemorative trophy\, and $250. \nTrophies to top four finishers in the finals. Plus an additional cash prize to 2nd through 4th* (*if any money remaining after total tournament expenses and first place cash prize) \nAll Skill Levels Welcome! Winner collects 17 points (2nd place gets 16 points\, and so on until 17th or lower place gets 1 point) towards an Invitation-Only finals for the top 16 cumulative point collectors on August 30\, 2026! \n100% of entry fee will go towards a Progressive Prize Pot to be awarded to the top 8 players in the August 30 finals.
